Monthly Friday Night Blues Jam

Friday Night Blues Jam featuring local artists and bands, with rotating hosts.

Doors 7 pm, Host Band 7:30 pm
Jamming 8:15 pm – 11 pm

Location: Eagles Hall, 33868 Essendene Ave., Abbotsford (beside Paliotti’s). 
Cover:  $10 (Jammers – no cover, thanks for playing for us!)

We have been filling to capacity within minutes of the doors opening, so please arrive early, or come a bit later (after 9). Once we’ve reached 100 people, we just ask you to wait until others clear out. Some only stay for the first hour. In most cases, you can go next door and have a beverage while you wait.

Musicians playing generally are first come, first up, but not always. It all depends on who we have in the house and what instruments they play. Be patient, our hosts work hard at getting everyone up and combining musicians together that will make for a good mix and fun time playing together.

Most music is the standard 12 bar blues music but there are variations.
Sign-up sheet at front table and please introduce yourself to the host in between sets.

We provide the drum kit (bring your own sticks), amps, monitors, mics and PA, most times a keyboard. You bring your own instrument (except drums & keys).

Audience is welcome and necessary! Bring friends and family! The large wooden dance floor is well used and Bill & Cora always dance the first dance.
